Nikki Dunsire

Taking photographs is one of my side passions. Whenever I have the opportunity to go on an adventure with my camera, I take it. Originally, I started with a Cannon AE-1, a darkroom and black and white film. I have a healthy respect for the artistic nature of manually developing photos and may go back to that at some point. More recently I use a Nikon D5100.

I gravitate toward nature shots, but I’m looking to expand into urban environments. I love to give life and focus to things that are commonly overlooked or passed by. Being mindful of composition and framing to drive the piece is something I consider and it’s a component that I translate into my other artistic endeavors.

I also sell prints in a variety of formats. I mount them on reclaimed wood that’s been sanded and finished with stain or tongue oil. I’ve also done canvas prints and metal wall mounts. Contact me for a quote if you’re interested. Prices depend on size and type of medium.
